2 Years Old

We've officially got ourselves a pre-schooler and not a toddler :(

I have so many mixed feelings about my baby boy being two years old. I am so excited for him- he's learning so much, communicating with us, has his own little personality and quirks, and is just so much fun. But on the other hand, he doesn't need us as much anymore. Which in and of itself wouldn't be that bad if he didn't tell us just that! He is very stubborn and independent (can't imagine where he got that from) and likes to do things his own way. A new phrase he's using is "Go away" and it just breaks my heart! But he's also saying "I love you" without u having to say it first and just adores his baby brother and is so sweet to him.

Nick is signed up for preschool in the fall at Sugar Hill Day School at Sugar Hill UMC. I fell in love with the school after touring 5 places. I'm so excited about what's in store for him there. I know he'll thrive and the structure and discipline from a non-parental figure will be good for him! It's just difficult to imagine "sharing" him with someone else 2 days a week! :(

I just can't believe how quickly 2 years have come and gone. It's just amazing to me. He's brought such joy, love, and laughter to our lives and we thank God for him every single day.
